Season long weekend ski program for 3 and 4 year olds of all abilities. | A safe and fun learning experience for our youngest guests is the best way to ensure a lifetime filled with passion for snow sports. Micro Blazers works best for families who can commit to every weekend, and provides an age-appropriate introduction to our safe and secure mountain playground. Micro Blazers includes a morning ski session, lunch, and afternoon ski sessions depending on conditions and child’s stamina. Skiers of all abilities are welcome.

Micro Blazers are based out of the Schoolhouse at Lincoln Peak. The program meets Saturdays and Sundays from January 4 through March 23, 2025. Drop off is between 8:30 and 9 am, pickup is at 2 pm. Lunch is included!

Micro Blazers must have an Ikon or Sugarbush 4 & Under Pass, and be fully potty trained.

A fun-filled, full-day, season long mountain adventure for young skiers ages 5 to 6. | A mountain adventure for young skiers, Mini Blazers work with the same kids and coaches each weekend to make skiing at Sugarbush a major component of growing up with the mountains as a playground. Our highly skilled and carefully trained instructors promote a fun and safe environment in which to experience snow-filled adventures and to gain the skills necessary to ski with confidence.

Mini Blazers should be able to ski and turn confidently on chairlift-serviced green terrain or better. The program will meet every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm, January 4 to March 23, 2025. Mini Blazers must have an Ikon Pass.

A full season of coaching, community, and all-mountain ski and riding adventures for ages 7 to 15.
| Blazers write their own definition of Adventure every week. With a focus on teamwork to develop skills and promote our core values of safety, fun, and learning, the wider Blazer community creates truly lasting relationships between skiers and riders and their families. Consistent groups and continuity of coaching allows participants to move forward and experience increasingly challenging adventures while becoming responsible stewards of our mountain environment.

Adventure Blazers should be able to ski/ride and turn confidently on chairlift-serviced blue terrain or better. The program will meet every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm, January 4 to March 23, 2025. Blazers must have an Ikon Pass.

Season long Sunday all mountain adventure program for skiers ages 6 to 12. | In the capable hands of our coaches, Mt. Ellen Blazers develop the skills necessary to explore Mount Ellen's trails, terrain park, bumps, and woods and build the foundation for a lifelong love of skiing.

Mt Ellen Blazers should be able to ski and turn confidently on chairlift-serviced blue terrain or better. The program will meet every Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm, January 5 to March 23, 2025. Blazers must have an Ikon Pass.

The Sugarbush freeski competitive team is for advanced skiers looking to compete in moguls, slopestyle, and big mountain events.
Ages 10-18 | Freeski and freeride are all about self-expression, and the exceptional coaches of the Sugarbush Freeski Team have created a nationally competitive team focused on developing the skills needed to succeed in professionally judged competitions and beyond. Founded in 1993, the Sugarbush Freeski Team competes in moguls, slopestyle, and big mountain events.

Freeski team members should be advanced to expert level all-mountain skiers comfortable with being coached in bumps, rails, and airs. The program will meet every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm, 12/7/24 - 4/6/25, primarily at Mt Ellen. Members must have an Ikon Pass.

The competitive team will meet for additional training and competition dates. The coaching team will update schedule as it gets closer. An additional fee may be required for kids competing at USSA A Level events.

Ski Mountaineers take adventure and fun seriously! Blending smart decision-making, route-finding, group dynamics, leadership, teamwork, snow and terrain evaluation, shelter building, backcountry rescue, self-sufficiency, and constant preparedness, to become true skiing gurus.
Ages 10-17

The 24/25 Ski Mountaineers program is currently at capacity. For more details and to join the waitlist, please reach out to us at skiride@sugarbush.com | Ski Mountaineers is for advanced skiers only. Participants must be comfortable on most Black Diamond/advanced terrain and have a high willingness and stamina to explore steeps, trees, bumps, park, and the backcountry. Team members will be required to climb or hike at least once per weekend.
Please be aware that all team members must have climbing skins and a backpack with food, water, extra clothing, repair gear, and first aid supplies, plus either Telemark or alpine touring gear. The program meets every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm, January 4 to March 23, 2024. Ski Mountaineers must have an Ikon Pass.

The Sugarbush Snowpro Academy is an elite training program for dedicated skiers and snowboarders aged 12-17. This academy focuses on advanced skiing and snowboarding techniques, teaching and coaching preparation, and leadership skills. Participants receive top-notch coaching, personalized training plans, and the opportunity to learn the foundations of snow sports instruction. The Snowpro Academy is designed for those aiming to pursue skiing or snowboarding professionally or simply seeking to refine their skills to the highest standard. It's an excellent stepping stone for young athletes with big ambitions. | Ages: 12 - 17
