Mt. Ellen Group Lessons (7-12 years)

Two hour group lessons at Mount Ellen for skiers and riders of all abilities ages 7 to 12. Available weekends and holidays. | Children's Group Lessons are a wonderful way to include learning in your family's ski and ride day at Mt. Ellen, and Sugarbush's pros know how to take full advantage of Mt. Ellen's exceptional teaching terrain to really bring your kids skiing and riding to the next level. If this is your first trip to Sugarbush this season purchase a new SugarXpress card during checkout to pick up on the first day of lessons.

Advanced Kids Camp

All mountain adventure camp for expert skiers and riders ages 10 to 15. | Sugarbush’s premier black diamond kids program coached by our best and most experienced children's coaches. The Advanced Kids Camp is the ultimate way for kids to make the most of our incomparable mountains at Sugarbush. This Camp promotes an environment of safety and exploration, taking advantage of all the terrain available in our mountain playground. Our pros coach participants to improve their skiing and riding on steeps, in the bumps, in the park, and all over our famous wilderness areas.

Available as a one day or multi day camp.

Holiday Race Ski Camp

Multi day race camp for advanced skiers ages 10 - 17. | Our Holiday Race Camp is a great way to have a blast while making the most out of our top coaches and Sugarbush’s rich history of racing excellence. Camps focus on developing technique, instilling positive attitudes and motivating young athletes to achieve their peak performance. The right mix of fun, drills, gates, and adventure, personal attention and the camaraderie of a small group in the hands of our pros produce an unparalleled skiing experience. Multi day campers will have an opportunity to be videoed.

New for 2019-2020, we will be offering Intro to Race camp sessions in December and February, for skiers who are interested in learning about ski racing, but do not have experience with the discipline. Intro to Race participants must be advanced skiers, but race-specific experience is not required. Participants must show strong parallel skiing skills on Sugarbush’s groomed Black Diamond trails. Intro to Race participants may be able to join the Regular Race Camps at their coach's discretion, but participation is not guaranteed.

Regular Race Camp participants must be advanced skiers, as well as have some experience with ski racing. This is a great holiday refresher for returning high school racers, and good practice for aspiring team members.

Junior Freeski/Freeride Camp

Freestyle camp for intermediate to expert skiers and riders ages 9 to 15. | Sugarbush’s Junior Freestyle Camp is great way to make the most of your kid’s Presidents Week break. Beginning each day at Mt. Ellen, the camp focuses on skills and maneuvers both in and out of the park, progressing from the ground up to ensure safety and success, making the most of our incomparable terrain to develop true all mountain freeride style. Our exceptional freestyle coaches focus on safety, park etiquette, appropriate equipment and tactical decision-making to really take the experience to the next level.

Available as a one day or multi day camp running February 17-21, 2020.

Preschool 6 Day Pass

On-snow six pack of ski and snowboard lessons for children ages 3 to 6 centered out of The Schoolhouse, Sugarbush’s state-of-the-art learning center. | The Preschool 6 day Pass is good for 6 midweek non-holiday morning lessons. Customers may purchase as many 6 day passes throughout the season as they would like. Children will be placed into appropriate groups through the Micro and Mini Bears programs. Snowboarding is available for 4-6 year olds through the Mini Bears program.

Young Chef's Class

A fun and tasty evening of creativity and discovery through a hands-on culinary experience. Children will learn basic kitchen safety, food handling, cooking techniques, how to set a table all while they prepare and feast on a three course meal. | Fresh, local ingredients will be the highlight of each dish the young chefs prepare. The interactive learning experience will give the children the opportunity to develop a life-long love for the culinary arts and good food. Ages 6-12

Escape Room

Bring the whole family for an interactive experience at our Mad Scientist-themed escape room at the Sugarbush Health and Recreation Center. Your group has 45 minutes to navigate the multi-room course - solving puzzles and finding clues along the way. Sign up and see if you can escape! | This project was created by a group of local high school students as an annual fundraiser for Sculpture School. Boomer Series - JEN TEST

Join us on Tuesdays from 9 AM to noon for technical skill development in a social atmosphere exclusively for Boomer skiers (ages 65+). Taught only by Sugarbush’s top caliber coaches, the Boomer Essential Elements is for skiers comfortable on intermediate terrain. | Boomer Essential Elements is offered for three three-week sessions. Skiers may join the program for a single day as well.

Session 1 meets every Tuesday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for three consecutive weeks, from January 7 to January 21, 2020.
Session 2 meets every Tuesday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for three consecutive weeks, from January 28 to February 11, 2020.
Session 3 meets every Tuesday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for three consecutive weeks, from March 3 to March 17, 2020.
